Cemented carbide dewaxing and sintering

This graphite resistance furnace combines dewaxing and sintering for compatible cemented carbide loads. Typical applications include cutting tools, wear parts, rock-drilling components and forming dies. Confirm the tungsten carbide grade, binder composition, dewaxing requirements and atmosphere with our engineering team.

• SJ30/60C-1: 300 × 300 × 600 mm work zone; 54 L listed capacity; 50 kW.
• SJ40/80C-1: 400 × 400 × 800 mm; 128 L; 120 kW.
• SJ50/120C-1: 500 × 500 × 1200 mm; 300 L; 200 kW.
• SJ60/150C-1: 600 × 600 × 1500 mm; 540 L; 220 kW.
• SJ70/150C-1: 700 × 700 × 1500 mm; 735 L; 300 kW.

• Maximum listed working temperature: 1900°C; design temperature: 2000°C.
• Graphite resistance heating; automatic, semi-automatic or manual operation.
• Vacuum or argon atmosphere, subject to material suitability; listed vacuum level 5 Pa in empty, cold, clean conditions.
• Specified temperature uniformity: ±10°C in the 1000–1700°C range.
• Three-phase voltage options: 380, 400, 415 or 480 V; cooling-water pressure 1.5–2.5 bar.

Configuration and process review

Listed features include a closed-loop cooling system, a hydraulic chamber-lid lift and alarms for over-temperature, over-pressure, gas or water shortage, and power failure. Confirm the controls, protective interlocks and dewaxing configuration for your selected model.
