Laboratory Induction Furnace for Carbon Materials

Vertical top-loading CX-GF-Lab design uses medium-frequency induction heating, a water-cooled coil, graphite susceptor and carbon-felt insulation. It supports lab research on carbon-material graphitization and compatible processes in a graphite hot zone.

Research applications

  • PI-based graphite film, carbon fiber and carbon composites
  • Battery anode materials, CNT and VGCF sample processing
  • Other compatible materials subject to sample and atmosphere review

Two laboratory models

  • CX-GF20/30VT: Φ200 × 300 mm usable space; 10 L listed capacity; 80 kW; 15 m³/h cooling-water flow
  • CX-GF30/50VT: Φ300 × 500 mm usable space; 35 L; 120 kW; 20 m³/h cooling-water flow

Shared specifications

  • Maximum design temperature: 3000°C; listed working temperature: 2850°C
  • Temperature uniformity: ±10°C, measured at 1600°C
  • Maximum listed heating rate: 30°C/min, subject to test conditions
  • Vacuum or argon atmosphere; vacuum operation is stated only below 2200°C
  • Customizable three-phase supply; cooling-water pressure 1.5–2.5 bar
